Delivery and Dispatch
In these terms, "deliver" and "delivery" of products include collection of them should you pick them up from our premises.
Address for delivery
You agree that the address to which we may deliver is the address you gave for delivery as part of your order or any other address we may subsequently agree to accept as the delivery address. We will not deliver unless all requested delivery details are given when you place your order.
It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. You agree that we may rely on any person who is at the address you gave for delivery, and who takes receipt of your ordered products, as being authorised for that purpose. We will not deliver your order if we consider any delivery circumstances may be unsuitable for any reason, including because any likely recipient of the ordered products appears to our delivery personnel to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, under the age of 18 years or acting for or on behalf of a person who we consider may be unsuitable for any reason (including because they may be under 18 years). We may not deliver your order if any of our requests for verification (such as proof of identity or age) are not met.
Free local delivery within Beaumaris, Mentone, Black Rock, Sandringham postcode area. Delivery times Monday - Friday 10.00am to 7.00pm.
Should click and collect or pick up delivery be more convenient for you, this can take place during store opening hours. Goods will be available for collection at 15 South Concourse, Beaumaris.
General merchandise items available from this website are dispatched from Melbourne, Australia. Please allow 2-4 working days for delivery within Melbourne metro area and 10 working days delivery within Australia, depending on the destination.
Please note that a signature is required on delivery in most cases. We suggest delivery direct to your office or workplace. If you provide us with Post Office Box details, we may contact you to arrange an alternate delivery address, depending on the size of the order being delivered to you. If our freight carrier is unsuccessful in delivery to you on more than one occasion, the package may be returned to our warehouse. In the unlikely event that this occurs, to re-send your parcel, an additional freight charge may need to be applied prior to dispatch. If your order is urgent, please contact us and include your order number reference.
Please note freight costs apply to selected orders and will be added to your shopping cart on checkout. Pricing below includes GST for Australian delivery.
Orders under $50.00 freight is $10.00
Orders between $50.01 & $199.99 freight is $14.00
Orders over $200.00 freight and below 22kg are free.
Any order above 22kg may be subject to additional freight charges. We will contact you should this take place.
Delivery deadlines are indicated as accurately as possible. We are not responsible for 3rd party delays, such as freight company delays, natural weather events, peak freight periods. No damages or compensation will be payable in the event of delivery deadlines being exceeded. However, if the product has not been delivered 21 days after the delivery date indicated and this is due for any reason other than force majeure, the purchase may then be cancelled and you may be refunded the price paid to the exclusion of any other damages or compensation (provided the delay is not contributed to by you). We are also not responsible for any customs charges or other additional fees associated with the delivery of your order. Free Delivery is conditional and only applies to products purchased online or over the phone and that are in excess of $200 AUD and under 22kg and are within the metro Melbourne area. From time to time Beaumaris Cellars may offer free delivery during a promotion. Free Delivery only applies to products upon checkout. For Free Delivery products, please be aware that the delivery charge is not removed until the payment page of the checkout.
If having commenced delivery of your order, we return any ordered products to our store or in the case of click and collect or pick up orders, any of your ordered products are not collected as close to the selected collection timeframes post receiving confirmation that your order is ready), while we will refund the amount paid by you for those products (in the absence of an arrangement with you for re-delivery), you agree that we may deduct an amount from this refund amount on account of the costs incurred by us in returning the relevant products to our store or storage site. You agree that we may make such deduction where we were unable to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including because of the wrong address appearing to us to have been given) or where we did not complete delivery because of any of the "Delivery pre-conditions" above not being met.
